Rules

1. This is a PG-13 site, no excessive language or scenes. If you wish to make an “R” rated thread, you must make sure everyone in the thread is okay with this, and make sure to put the rating in the title of the thread.

2. NO OOCness… yes, I know that no one can play a character perfectly, but Goku wouldn’t rip someone’s heart out and Vegeta wouldn’t smile and laugh. Try to be true as best to your ability.

3. No tattling! If you have a problem with another member, try to work it out together first. If the problem persists, then contact an admin.

4. Be polite! Ask permission, etc. We’re all grown-ups here right?

5. Place ads appropriately. No spamming

6. No godmodding, no power playing, and especially no mary-sues or anything else like that. Original characters are encouraged but everyone has a weakness or two.

7. Graphic size: 500x500 is the largest size we will accept.

8. Please give notice to any absences! Whether it’s for a few days or for good. We need to know.

9. Canons will be ‘auditioned’. This is simple. When you fill out your application, you will also need to fill out a form called “Audition”. This is to make sure only those who really enjoy the series and know the character play the canons. We don’t just want someone who read a Wikipedia article playing Goku or Vegeta, etc.

10. If you have questions PLEASE ask staff. We’ll be in the cbox, or you can PM or email or IM us. We want to help you!

Posting rules

1. All posting is in 3rd person point of view. This means “He, She, It” and not “I, Me”.

2. Posting- a minimum of 300 words, in paragraph format. No scripting.

3. Be creative in your post, but don’t go too nuts. No yellow letters on a white background, for example. Make sure the font is clear and large enough to read. Justified or blockquotes are encouraged but not required. It just makes reading a lot easier.

4. No posting until your application is approved. You need the secret word to be admitted. The secret word is found at the end of the rules.

Cbox Posting

1. The cbox is in character

2. If you speak OOC, use ()

3. If you speak in character, but are not in the scene, use (())

4. No OOC drama!

5. What happens in the cbox stays in the cbox and does not necessarily effect threads. If you wish to try out an idea in the cbox and then post it later, that is perfectly fine

6. Be respectful

7. No R rated scenes or sex scenes! Period!

Characters

1. Again, this is important, NO godmodding. You can’t say you killed someone without permission.

2. You may use a REAL celebrity or an anime for your Play By. But please, be creative. Don’t use Johnny Depp as a pirate, for example.

3. No long lost siblings, family, or children to a canon without staff AND player permission. (ex: if you want to play Vegeta’s long lost son, you need to ask Vegeta and staff) These characters may be asked to fill out the Audition form as well.

4. If you play canon you HAVE to use that character as your playby.

5. Try to be original when naming characters. We can have people with the same name, but we don’t need a dozen Vegeta jr.’s running around.

6. You can start with one character right off. After 50 posts you can have another. Once the new character has 50 posts, you can add another. As long as you prove you can play multiple characters, you can have between 3-5. Any more than 5 is a bit ridiculous. Staff may be the exception as someone may need a canon to be played (as in, the canon left in the middle of a plot)

7. Original characters are encouraged, but try to stay within the Dragonball Z universe. This means one, no Dragonball GT characters (at least without permission), and two, no angels, or vampires, etc.

8. Life Status: this has to do with if the character is Alive or was Resurrected by Nixx. Those Resurrected are souls with new bodies. These bodies are tougher than normal, but not by an unreasonable amount. Saiyans (and Cell) especially will be tougher than someone “Alive”. But it is all relative to the power levels (see below in “Fighting”).

9. If you are a Resurrected:

• This means you were brought back to life by Nixx to serve him.
  
• You will have the Majin “M” symbol marked on your skin. It doesn’t have to be the forehead but don’t make it somewhere obscene either.
  
• You are evil now even if you were good before. You can try to resist, but it is not an easy process
  
• You have a mental link directly to Nixx so that he may give orders. This also means he can use you as a spy, whether you want to or not.
  
• The only way to break from Nixx is to get help from the First Kai… but she is weak these days and has to be picky. She won’t help just anyone. If you want this to be a major motivation for your character, PM the First Kai.
  
• If you are killed, you are susceptible to Nixx’s Resurrection. Anyone with darkness in their heart could be Resurrected. Being “pure” is rare.
  
• The only ones not Resurrected who have a mental connection to Nixx are Vegeta and Buu due to being Majin in the past. If you character is or was Majin, you need to ask before suddenly knowing something about Nixx. He isn’t going to let all the Majin or Resurrected know his every thought or whim.

10. Canons!

• If you have a canon, you must be active. Anyone deemed not active will have their canon back up for grabs.
  
• Canons have to fill out the audition application and be approved.
  
• You must use your canon’s play by and name!

Transformations

1. Only Saiyans or demi-Saiyans can go Super Saiyan

2. There are only the four ‘full’ forms of Super Saiyan.

• This means there is Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, and Super Saiyan 4 (yes, we’re allowing Super Saiyan 4)
  
• There is also the ‘super’ form that comes between Super Saiyan & Super Saiyan 2
  
• Super Saiyan 4:
  ~Only full-blooded Saiyans can reach this form
  ~This form can only be used when an abundance of “Bluntz waves” are absorbed in the body. This can be done either by machine or an odd lunar event.
  ~The circumstances of the transformation must be approved by staff.
  
• The Oozaru form can only be used by a Saiyan with a tail
  
  3. Nameks have one transformation, the Super Namek form.
  ~The Nameks can still, however, grow huge if their power allows it
  
  4. Icejin: there are up to 4 transformations
  
  
  Fighting
  
  1. There is no health or Ki bar. The battle system is simple, just decide ahead of time who wins and how, and have fun with the fight!
  
  2. Stats: we don’t have official stats for characters, but use commons sense. Someone really bulky would be slower, and someone like a wizard wouldn’t have a lot of physical strength.
  
  3. Fighting: you can use whatever moves you want, but do NOT godmode. You can’t dodge everything or hit them every time.
  
  4. Special abilities: these include psychic abilities, healing, flying, teleporting, etc. Again, we don’t want to go nuts with these abilities.
  
  5. Fighting can be difficult to post in a thread. If you wish, you may script a fight.
  
  • You must somehow trade turns with the other players, such as to instant message or email, then one of you may post it
    
  • Mark the fighting sequence clearly
    
  • Please make sure it is clear and easy to read.
  
  
  
  Dragonballs
  
  1. You can only make a wish with permission from staff. You can’t just SAY you found a Dragonball. You need to put it in a thread, with permission. We will have a page up for who has which Dragonballs, and which ones are still unaccounted for.
  
  2. You can’t find two or more Dragonballs in one place, even if it’s not at the same time.
  
  3. You can steal Dragonballs, but only if you have permission OOC first. And don’t be stingy! If it makes good sense for the plot, then let it be stolen.
  
  4. There are, and will always be, only 7 Dragonballs, and only one Shenron. If you have the same Dragonball as someone else, then one of them is a fake. There are only 1-7 stars on the Dragonballs as well. Don’t try to claim you found an extra-special 10-star ball. It doesn’t exist. Also, no other eternal dragons. We can have dragons flying around but only ONE that grants wishes.
  
  5. Namek: if the plot allows, then the Dragonball chase may eventually be moved to Namek. The rules, however, will remain the same.
  
  • Dragonballs do not mix!! Only the seven earth balls OR the seven Namek balls can be used together. No 3 of one and 4 of the other.
    
  • Only seven Namek Dragonballs and only one Porunga!
  
  
  6. Dragonball hunting: there is a master list for the location of the dragonballs on the staff page. If you happen to thread where there is a dragonball, an admin will PM you. Then you can state finding the dragonball IN your post, so everyone be on the lookout!
  
  7. Resurrection and death: if a character is dead, they can be played in the otherworld or hell. They can only be resurrected by one of three ways—Nixx, First Kai, or the Dragonballs. Death doesn’t have to be the end, but it is serious.
  Secret word: 9000
